St Edmundsbury is located in rural Suffolk, covering approximately 258 square miles. The population of 112,000 (mid 2014 estimate) live in the main towns of Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, and in numerous villages. St Edmundsbury borders Norfolk to the north and Essex to the south. It has good trunk road connections, proximity to Cambridge, Stansted airport and east coast ports.
